Insightful Insider #3 - The First and Last Polyhedra Airdrop Guide You'll Ever Read
Breakdown of all interaction types and what you can do to maximize your chances at qualifying
The recent announcement of the Wormhole $ W airdrop has sent a frenzy in farmers trying to find and prioritize all of the major tokenless protocols to farm within the airdrop interoperability niche.
At top of mind in this category is Polyhedra, if you don’t know what Polyhedra is and why you should be farming it here a TLDR:
25M funding, TGE likely coming at the end of March - late April 2024, so you don’t exactly have a ton of time
Large funding/backers, and will likely be launch on Binance and other major CEXs
Will likely launch at a multi Billion $ valuation
Gud Tech - novel way for cross chain transfers of tokens and NFTs using zk technology, working in collaboration with other large/important interoperability protocols such as LayerZero
Relatively easy and cheap to do (given you have the right information and tools which is what I’m here for)
Team has already given rough guidelines to criteria area they are considering for the airdrop
There are basically only about 4 core interactions that you need to do depending on how you categorize them
So what well go over
what these interactions types are and how you can perform them
general estimations on thresholds/interaction levels you should try to hit for each category
strategies on efficient routes and how to compound and chain these interactions to save time and money/ gas fees used
Me shilling you a paid resource at the end that will probably save you time and make you money

Resources
Explorer - https://zkbridgescan.com/ - use to check if your interaction show up on polyhedra (not everything will always show up however)
Put in your transaction (txn) hash
(the long string of numbers and letters followed by 0x in the URL of your txn when looking at the block explorer) to double check if your interactions are using the Polyhedra specific bridge/infrastructure
Give it at least 5 minutes to update, not all txns will show up on the explorer
(Ex. txns from BSC will always show up while other from Polygon sometimes don't), dont worry if it doesn't show up, just focus on doing all the different types of interactions to and from many different chains

1/ zk Bridge Token - bridging different types of tokens (not NFTs) specifically using the Polyhedra infrastructure
Bridging tokens gives you a zkBridge interaction, (using merkly refuel only uses LayerZero)
recommended you start with this interaction because you can bridge gas to opBNB so you'll have funds on opBNB to do the star legends game/interaction where you'll be getting a large amount for your zkBridge NFT interactions
Bonus: bridging the minimum amount of ETH from Linea to any other chain before February 22nd will get you 200 LXP (onchain Linea XP), If you've missed this its not a big deal its just a bonus
Interaction goals: minimum of 5 unique S/D (source and destination) chains (where you are bridging from and to), 11 txns, $1k volume
Some tips/alpha
Get your initial funds on chain using 3rd party bridges like: Owlto, Orbiter, Gas.zip, LIFI/Jumper, Bungee, Layerswap, Merkly, RhinoFi, Symbiosis
1/ Get funds onto BNB chain, you can do this by either withdrawing from a CEX or using a 3rd party cross chain bridge/router listed above, if you need gas on other chains for future steps (Ex ETH on Linea, you can use these tools to get gas on that native chain)
2/ Bridge at least $15+ worth of BNB gas onto opBNB from BNB (this is so we have gas for future NFT interactions for the star legends/NFT minting and bridging)
3/ Chain ETH token bridges between all of the chains where ETH is the native gas token, end with a chain where its more expensive or ETH is not the native gas token
Ex. Arbitrum --> Optimism --> Base --> Scroll/Linea/Polygon, ect
This mean more unique S/D (source and destination) chains without have to refuel on each new chain to get another interaction or unique source chain
(make sure that you leave behind at least $2 in native gas so you can merkly zkRefuel from there in a later step/interaction)
Example: Use 3rd party bridge to get ETH on Optimism, then bridge ETH to Arbitrum --> Base --> Scroll/Linea/Polygon
(your ending with these chains because bridging from these chains is more expensive and Polygons native gas token isnt ETH its MATIC so you can end the route bridging into it (or else you'll have to refuel it with gas to move funds out from Polygon)
4/ Well save some of the last tips for the interaction sheet
If your tracking your interactions (see interaction sheet at the end) it will look something like this (random examples filled in for demonstration reasons)
The official Polyhedra place for NFT bridging, here you can import and bridge other NFTs you minted in previous steps, such as the 2024 dragon or the star legends, or create and bridge your own NFT, use this to add and source or destination chains you may have missed or want to add
Would bridge at least 5-10 NFTs , you can buy the tickets you need to burn on element marketplace
If you hold a legendary Pandraking (~$200-300, have speculative value that they will get a flat amount of tokens airdropped to holders) on if BNB opBNB or polygon you get 5 / week for free, tickets are very cheap (~$0.40) so more capital efficient to buy the tickets

If you need gas on opBNB use Polyhedra's zkBridge or Gas.zip to get ~$15+ of opBNB (or bridge less if you want to farm more txns), will cost around $0.5-$0.7 per NFT bridged
Polyhedra 2024 Dragon NFT - Minting ends March 3rd, good way to get a limited time NFT from Polyhedra and bridge to multiple chains to get zkBridge interactions
Interaction goals: minimum 5 unique S/D chains, 11 txns, at least 5 of those are from the Star Legends NFT and 3 are from the 2024 Dragon NFT

Another unique Polyhedra product interaction
make sure that you toggle on the right side to send messages through the two different options: "BNB Greenfield Testnet" and "Direct Message" instead of just using the BNB greenfield default for everything,
Note that message txns from some source chains (ex. Polygon) will not show up on the zkBridge Scan explorer
Interaction goals: minimum 3 unique S/D chains, from a mix of "BNB Greenfield" and "Direct message" options
Some tips/alpha - if you bridge native gas onto Core, Polygon or Celo from a refueling tool in a previous step then you will already have gas on these chains so you can send a message right away
BNB will probably be the easiest one to send a message from as you’ll likely already have gas on here from previous steps
BNB, Polygon and Arbitrum nova are the easiest chains to get gas on to send a message from
send messages to the chains your NOT sending the messages from so that you can get 3 unique source and destination chains in 3 txns (more efficient)
Merkly refuel and the NFT mint and bridge feature only uses L0 infrastructure, while Polyhedra and L0 are collaborative in their efforts you dont only want L0 polyhedra interactions which is why we did the zkToken and zkNFT interactions earlier/above
this is still a good way to build out your source and destination chains
Interaction goals: you may not have any more unique S/D chains depending on what chains you have already bridged NFTs and tokens to and from already, all of the merkly + Polyhedra interaction use Layer zero (L0) so at minimum you'll have +6 L0 txns
